Ashton Burrows joined his father’s practice in 2021. Ashton received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Oregon School of Law where he was an editor for the Oregon Law Review and graduated Order of the Coif – the highest honors at University of Oregon School of Law and top ten percent of his graduating class. While in law school, Ashton specialized in business law, tax, and estate planning. He also formerly clerked at the Oregon Court of Appeals for the Honorable Presiding Judge Erin C. Lagesen.

 

From 2019 to 2021, Ashton worked in-house counsel at a multinational corporation dealing with a wide variety of complex issues such as mergers and acquisitions, land contract purchase and management, environmental compliance, intellectual property, compliance risk management, and contract negotiation. Ashton came back to Utah to practice with his father to be closer to his family and enjoy the incredible outdoors that Utah has to offer. His ability to tackle multiple areas of the law and tenacity help ensure that his clients receive the outcome they need.
